I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel in Bandarawela. The unique architectural design throughout the property added a touch of charm to my stay. The staff were friendly and provided valuable service, and the hotel's location in the center made it easy for me to explore all the leading places in the area. My room was well-equipped with all the basic amenities, and I particularly enjoyed the terrace where I could relax and take in the beautiful view. The breakfast served here was the best I had during my time in Sri Lanka. this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money, attention to detail, and convenient location.
I couldn't find anything to fault about this hotel. It was all ok.

Perfect place for exploring Bandarawela. The hotel was superior and in an amazing location. Loved that we had a dining area, ironing facilities and a work desk in the bungalow. Not far from the downtown, 10 minutes on foot🙂👍

Had a romantic escape. Beautiful scenery and tranquil ambiance, perfect for couples. Enjoyed waking up to the soothing sounds of the nearby river. Convenient location near tourist attractions. Our room was spacious and cozy, with the added bonus of hot water always being available.
The noise from other guests detracted from our experience, as they were loud and inconsiderate. there was an incident involving our vehicle, but the lack of CCTV cameras made it difficult to resolve the issue.

Nestled in the midst of untouched nature, this peaceful haven boasts breathtaking views of the tea gardens. the ultra, comfortable king, sized bed was adorned with high, quality linens, and the room was impeccably styled with rustic decor. We were delighted to find a selection of locally sourced snacks and complimentary bottled water in our well, appointed room.

I recently had an absolutely fantastic stay at a charming hotel nestled in a hidden location. The rooms were a pleasant surprise, with cute fish tanks and impressive architectural design. I was amazed to find that each room had a view of the breathtaking trains passing by, making dinner truly wonderful. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious English breakfast spread featuring garden-fresh vegetables and the taste of pure bee honey. The coffee, also sourced from the gardens, had a unique flavor that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Nothing at all. I couldn't have asked for more.

I had a wonderful stay at Train View Chalet. The owners were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The views from the chalet were absolutely stunning, especially when I saw the trains passing by. The safari jeep they provided was comfortable and took us to beautiful places like Lipton Seat and waterfalls. The meals were delicious and the dining room had a picturesque view of the tea garden and passing trains. I highly recommend Train View Chalet for a relaxing and peaceful stay with personable hosts. I will definitely visit again.
